4. SMS Text Messaging and 10DLC Compliance

SKILLECTS may use Zoom Phone or other business communication providers to send and receive SMS text messages for legitimate business communications. Our website enquiry form offers a separate, optional SMS marketing checkbox next to the phone field. It is unchecked by default and is not required to send an enquiry or obtain services.

SMS consent and how to opt in
Promotional SMS is sent only to people who affirmatively check the optional, unchecked-by-default SMS marketing box on skillects.com and submit the form with their phone number. The checkbox describes the promotional messages and explains frequency, possible message and data rates, STOP and HELP instructions, and that consent is not a condition of purchase. We record the phone number, consent timestamp, source page URL, campaign, and the exact disclosure version accepted. We retain consent records for at least four years or longer where applicable law requires. Providing a phone number, submitting an enquiry, agreeing to enquiry data storage, or appearing on a public or purchased lead list does not itself constitute SMS marketing consent. We do not send promotional SMS to contacts sourced from LinkedIn, websites, or lead lists unless they separately provide the required consent.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with SKILLECTS and the types of messages you have agreed to receive. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opting out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to a SKILLECTS text message, or by contacting us through another reasonable method. We will honor opt-out requests promptly and stop sending the applicable messages, except for communications permitted or required by law. A one-time opt-out confirmation may be sent where appropriate. Opting out of SMS messages does not automatically unsubscribe you from other communication channels or affect communications you have separately requested, where permitted by law.
